Step 1:
Decide to Build Green

Green building has multiple meanings: increasing energy and water efficiency, using sustainable building materials, improving indoor air quality, or lessening one's carbon footprint.  The reasons for developing a green building also vary: enhancing an asset's value, complying with applicable laws, marketing to customers or employees, reducing carbon footprint, or any combination of the above.

Our team provides clear guidance on how to set green building goals and meet them under the LEED. We perform feasibility analyses to help determine the most cost-effective course of action.

Step 2:
Select the Appropriate LEED Rating System

Your project may be new construction, an existing building or a fit-out. We are specialized in helping our clients to achieve their LEED certification targets with different rating systems:

New Construction (NC)
Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (O+M)
Core & Shell (CS)
Schools (SCH)
Healthcare (HC)
Commercial Interiors (CI)
Interior Design and Construction (ID+C)

Step 3:
Conduct Eco-Charette

We offer full LEED project services that include providing oversight, review, and management from beginning to end. Our team is capable of completing all credits without any need of additional consultancy while practicing integrative project management.

A LEED project begins with an Eco-Charette. We meet with the design team, the owner, and other consultants, typically at the beginning stages of the design development. Requirements and potential credits are reviewed and discussed according to project conditions. The goal of this meeting is to establish a solid foundation and a clear path for all parties involved in the project.

Step 4:
Design and Construction

Our team extensively reviews the design and construction documents from the perspective of the LEED guidelines to ensure that the design team produces drawings that are compliant with the LEED credit requirements. We prepare all the documents necessary for the LEED submission. We ensure that the transition from the design phase to the construction is as smooth as possible.

The key to success during the construction phase is accurate collection and review of submittal data in order to maximize the construction credits. Construction meetings are held to coordinate all parties in terms of the data collection process and to manage the project objectives and requirements.

Step 5:
Certification

When the construction is completed, prepared documentation is submitted to the US Green Building Council and we achieve the desired certificate always on time.

We provide detailed reports and essential information that help the clients with communicating successfully about the LEED certification and green strategies implemented in the building.

Ecomeks team has experience in more than 50 LEED projects internationally including the US, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan Georgia.
